Black Jade was founded in 1999 and is based in Central Switzerland. Since 2005, the band has been a solo project that collaborates with international guest musicians. They play metal with lyrics inspired by the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Fans of "The Lord of the Rings," "The Hobbit," or "The Silmarillion" will feel right at home here.
In the early years, the music was clearly oriented towards black metal. From 2005 onwards, more pagan and folk elements were incorporated. Today, Black Jade offers a versatile mix of metal, hard rock, and black metal, varying greatly depending on the song and release. Therefore, it is worth exploring the entire discography.
