Biography
Fortunate enough to travel in his youth, Busgedi discovered the world's rich diversity and the wealth of experiences remains an invaluable source of inspiration to this day. In his childhood he was introduced to the piano and later the trumpet. With his Atari 1040ST and an 8-bit-sampler he eventually stumbled into the world of music production. Whilst later studies, an un-musical career, and a growing family pushed his passion for music into the realm of passive consumption, Busgedi eventually got back into the world of writing, producing and mixing music.
He enjoys the benefits of technological evolution and heavily relies on virtual instruments to express initial ideas but then prefers to include real instruments for final recordings. Musically, there is almost no genre he doesn't enjoy but there is a clear preference for tunes with a groove: Jazz, Funk, Soul, Blues, and what is broadly known as Salsa.
Growing up in Switzerland, Busgedi now commutes between his home country and the US.
Under the name of "Tuplain", he also produces Deep House with Jazz influences.
