Camille Tissot was born into a family of musicians in 2002 in Moutier (Switzerland). She began her musical training in 2005 with an introduction to music, before choosing the accordion as her main instrument in 2009. She began with classical training in Coralie Minder's class, then with Augustinas Rakauskas at the Bernese Jura Music School. She also took music theory classes.
From an early age, she participated in various stage projects, notably in Andrée Oriet's SAQAZIQ' choir, with which she recorded several CD albums. She joined the intensive Sport-Arts-Etudes program in the canton of Jura when she entered secondary school.
After completing compulsory schooling, Camille chose to train as a social education assistant with an integrated high school diploma. At the same time, she began to take an interest in jazz, attending more and more concerts. She decided to study jazz accordion at the end of this training.
In September 2021, she joined the EJMA (Lausanne) pre-HEM in Denis Croisonniers' class before entering the HEMU (Lausanne) in 2023 to study jazz accordion.
