Cat the Architect is an alternative rap project from Ticino, Switzerland, and part of the 315 Community.
The name reflects the idea of musical architecture: tracks conceived as blueprints, essential structures, and lasting traces.
The sound blends modern boom bap, alternative rap, and UK-influenced electronic elements, with a minimalist and atmospheric approach.
The project’s visual identity is inspired by a parallel world where animals have replaced humans: cats, dogs, and rats act as metaphors for social roles, behaviors, and urban instincts. Within this universe, identity becomes symbolic rather than personal, reinforcing the project’s faceless and conceptual nature.
The debut single “Blueprint” introduces this imaginary world, serving as a manifesto that defines the sonic, visual, and conceptual direction of a project designed to evolve over time.
