Charlotte peut-être
In creating their new show, Charlotte Parfois have transformed to become Chalotte Peut-être. Charlotte Peut-être, an interlude, an artistic break.
Under this new name, the band reveals a darker, colder side. Yet its tracks flirt with “electronica” and contain passionate beats that set bodies in motion. The effect is like an incandescent fire on a frozen lake.
"Ghost Track" draws from a range of musical sound, never before heard. Think ghost songs, masks, murmurs in back ground, a twisted and mysterious universe.
This project was conceived by the group’s lead singer, who wished to take the band into a new, more challenging direction. To do so, he worked with the sound engineer Dave Weber, the renaissance man of Studio des Forces Motrices in Geneva. The unlikely partnership worked brilliantly. From this collaboration, "Ghost Track" was born, bringing a much needed infusion of new energy into the world of contemporary music.
The dark side of the band has found its place. Charlotte Peut-être, with “Ghost Track,” courts the popular without losing its own unique, haunting sound.
