Biography
Powerful. Catchy. Different: This is Chromatic. The band
was born in 2014 in Valencia (Spain) from the hands of
the Valencian producers Phil Darás y Gerard Fortuny, the
American singer and songwriterDaniel Omphroy and the
Swiss/Spanish co-writer and manager Loïc Vazquez. Born
in Switzerland from Spanish parents, Loïc, has worked with
many different bands from diverse musical backgrounds and
has managed more than 100 shows. In 2013, he obtained his
Masters in Global Entertainment and Music Business at the
prestigious Berklee College of Music in Valencia. Since then
he has been running his own music management agency,
Chocolate Management.
Phil and Gerard are well known producers
in the Spanish music scene for their house
music. Don’t be surprised if you hear their
productions in the top 30 songs played
on the electronic music radio stations.
Competing with international artists and
never staying behind it is
no surprise that publishing
companies like “Clippers”
and “Blanco&Negro” have
noticed their work and
published their creations for years.
Singer and songwriter Daniel Omprhoy
from New York studied classical voice at
Boston University and finished his Master
degrees at Berklee College of Music Valencia
Campus in 2014. With a passion for music
that has pushed him to explore all styles of
contemporary music his talent can carry
him through any genre: blues, jazz, rock,
reggae, funk, or soul. Chromatic has already
successfully performed their latest material in
the summer of 2014 and they will publish their first creations at
the end of the same year.
Chromatic is a band with a clear international perspective:
two Spanish producers, one American singer and a
Swiss manager. From four, they speak eight languages,
which will help to communicate with a global fan-base.
Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, U.S.A.,
Australia, Portugal, Italy… none of these countries are
out of reach for Chromatic. In that
sense, Chromatic presents a clear
opportunity to enter the international
electronic music scene with the
flavor of “made in Spain” paired with
our borderless sound. And that’s the
point: borderless. The themes in our
songs define the unity of
humanity by expressing:
love, equality, desire,
freedom, and passion.
The versatility and energy
of Daniel joined to Phil and Gerard’s “savoir-faire” and
talent, create a genuine style that will certainly leave none
indifferent...
