CLANGUSAR is a dance/house project from DJ and producer Pascal Seiler from Reckingen-Gluringen in the Canton of Valais (Switzerland).
CLANGUSAR?
The term CLANGUSAR is a play on words. The first one, CLANG, is English and the second one comes from the Croatian language “GUSAR”, which means Pirate. So as a clang pirate (or sound pirate), CLANGUSAR enwraps well known songs into modern beats.
HISTORY
Pascal Seiler has been touring for more than 20 years now, mostly in his homeland by playing in clubs, at different parties and at festivals. His heart and soul has always beaten for electronic music. To develop his own project was one of his heart’s biggest desires.
OWN PROJECT
In 2014 the time had come and everything was set to start his own project. Pascal Seiler deepened his knowledge of electronic music production and bought himself all the necessary equipment. It was the beginning of an intense learning process and experimentation in a small recording studio. In the fall of 2014, he met SAM Gruber (plan 1 Media Schweiz Gmbh), the ideal partner for the recording and mastering. This opened the way to the production of his first song.
FIRST SONG
The first song “Welcome to Wonderland (Tornero’) will come out in June 2015. It’s a new interpretation of the world hit “Tornero” from the Italian band “I Santo California”. This light dance/pop track shows some summer hit potential. The arrangement and text are produced by Sam Gruber and Pascal Seiler and it’s performed (interpreted) by the very young (only 15) and talented Chantal Bregy from Steg and Sam Gruber. “Welcome to Wonderland (Tornero’) is also available in a club-mix version as well as in a festival-remix version from the famous Swiss producer, remixer and DJ Mr. Da Nos.
MUSIC VIDEO
« Welcome to Wonderland (Tornero’) tells an emotional story. To put a face to this story, the music video was produced by the professionals from CC Media Ltd from Zurich. There we see how CLANGUSAR takes two people from their tragic fate into its wonderland.
ALBUM RUM’N‘BASS
CLANGUSAR plans to come out with an album with 15 tracks by the end of 2015. The work on the new album has already started and other more or less famous hits and melodies will be clangusarised.
LIVE
CLANGUSAR proposes custom made live shows and can be booked through the website www.clangusar.com. Clangusar mixes electro house with a marked preference for BIG ROOM.
