CLAYEYE is the solo artist Andrea G. Corciulo based in Switzerland. Prior to his solo career, he was a singer-songwriter for the bands LOGE and MONOBLOND, which released several albums and had numerous radio plays and tours in the 90s and 2000s. Especially songs like "Love Yourself" and "It's Alright" surfed on many radio waves in this country. But eventually, Corciulo decided that it was time to realize his own ideas and visions again. This led to the creation of CLAYEYE, which quickly developed into a solo project. Corciulo carried out the entire album production, from songwriting and recording the songs to mixing, designing the artwork and music videos, all on his own. This comprehensive creative control allowed him to fully realize his vision and make his debut album a truly personal work.
The musical arrangements on CLAYEYE's debut album are complex and dense, crystalline and soft at the same time. The songs glide in the colorful, shimmering spheres of the pop universe, sparkling in shining eyes. The rich instrumentation encompasses a wide range of sounds and textures, giving the album a powerful yet gentle atmosphere. Despite these complex arrangements, vocals and melody are at the center. CLAYEYE's voice is the heart of the album, and his vocal harmonies are a central part of the musical fabric. The mixture of analog and digital sounds gives the production a warm and organic touch, reflecting Corciulo's love for music and his commitment to his art. Overall, CLAYEYE's debut album is an uplifting and inspiring collection of songs that celebrate versatility while trying to create a unique and distinctive sound. It is a personal tribute to the pop music that shaped him.
“My music is pop-music… alternative, surely melodious, some call it joyful and eclectic. I want it to be heartfelt and inspiring. You’ll find out for yourself.
Thanks for listening and sharing my music. I really appreciate it.” CLAYEYE
