Climax’s debut album was delivered in 2007 as a « collection of 10 songs fiercely reminiscent of a werewolf on a full moon night » (24 Heures). Their second album – equally as energetic, « cheeky and a tad deranged » (Daily Rock) came out in 2011.
Since late 2014, Climax has been performing the « zany rock’n’roll » (le Matin) of their third opus on stage. The band’s multifaceted energy pours out as heavy riffs, entwining melodies and vintage sounds. With as much irony as candor, the lyrics address doubts, hopes, indifference, peace, rage, domination and freedom.
Their rock’n’roll journeys between garage rock, raw soul, rythm’n’blues and Brit Rock, collecting on its way bits and pieces bringing that exuberant je ne sais quoi to the stage. Ferociously set on seduction mode, sporting their sassiest paisley shirts, united by a 12-year friendship and 160 concerts, these five wacky dandies are having so much fun that everyone soon joins in.
