Formed in Zurich, corokia blend 90s grunge influences with contemporary post-punk energy. Through regular rehearsals and initially rough demos, they have evolved into a powerful live band, known for their distinctive guitar riffs, driving drums and melodic yet relentless basslines. Weaving together distorted sounds and driving grooves, they create songs that oscillate between dark abysses and danceable melodies. With «every fragment of this dream», corokia venture into dark territory, both thematically and musically. The EP explores illusions, emotional dependency, mental health, the fragile notion of «security» within toxic dynamics, and the question of what remains when this construct crumbles.
