Critical Heartbeat is a metal band formed in 2012 by André (vocals/rhythm guitar) and Rui (lead guitar). Having started out covering songs by Linkin Park, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Scorpions, and many others, their desire to write original music quickly took over.
A year later, Leo (drums) joined them, followed by Ben (bass) a few months after. From then on, they started playing show after show. Their first studio session allowed the band to record their very first compositions: Intro, Alone, Scream, and Without You. The track Scream was particularly well-received by the audience, prompting them to choose it as the lead single for their upcoming EP "Our Beginning," which quickly spread across social media.
Following the success of their first tour, they decided to release their self-titled debut album, Scream, followed by "The CHB Scream Winter Tour," which brought their new songs to audiences all over Switzerland and France. After four years of hard work, the band released their second album, Revolution!, leading straight into preparations for their 2024 tour.
The Revolution Tour wrapped up brilliantly after more than 20 dates across Swiss and French stages, resulting in the release of their very first live album: Revolution Live. Today, after another intense year of hard work, their brand-new album, Arise, is finally out!
