Biography

“In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act”

January 2018 sees the release of DALLAN’s latest creation, ‘Beauty Lies in Lies’, produced by the masterful German, Los Angeles based, electronic soundscape composer/producer Robot Koch.

In Beauty Lies in Lies, DALLAN’s longing vocals play against lyrical allusions to fairy-tale love, in line with her tender, wintery oeuvre. Koch’s understated arrangement, punctuated by gentle string flourishes and big percussion evokes a sparse, melancholy landscape which provides the perfect space for DALLAN’s beautiful voice and soaring choirs.

Beauty Lies in Lies follows the release of DALLAN’s 2017 album ‘Overturn’ which garnered positive critical acclaim upon release last August. This new release signals an exciting new direction for her and is perhaps a subtle hint of things to come.
