The Irish-Swiss singer and songwriter Danny Concannon was born in Schaffhausen, Switzerland in 1995.
Danny first came into contact with music during his early childhood days in Ireland where he lived with
his family for a number of years.
Inspired by its melancholy tones, Danny was quickly obsessed by the piano. After years of piano and vocal lessons,
Danny began to write his own melodies and texts. Melancholy, which is reflected in his songs, became his signature.
Since he was sixteen years old, Danny has organized concerts with numerous Swiss musicians and in 2017 he released
his first single "Don't forget that I love you". With this song he attained a placing in the Swiss iTunes Charts as well as
entering the final round of the swiss young musicians competition "Kleiner Prix Walo". Four months later the pop hymn
"Let me dream this dream" followed which is still played today on national and international radio stations.
Following his successful debut as singer and songwriter Danny held many concerts with, among others, Jesse Ritch and
star pan-flutist Janas Gross as well taking part in many radio interviews in various european countries.
He has also undertaken a music video production and has been nominated for a "Wedding Award" in the category "Music".
In 2021, Danny released a cover of Lana Del Rey's hit "Video Games." The song spent several hours at #1 on the Swiss iTunes charts on the day of its release. Rock singer Bonnie Tyler took notice of the version and released a support video, which generated media attention for Danny throughout Switzerland.
In December 2022, Danny released a cover of "Another Love" and on 3 February 2023, the infectious pop anthem "Victim of Love" will be released, the first single of his own since 2018.
