DEAM is a genre-spanning pop group from Lucerne (Switzerland), founded in 2025. The band combines passionate vocals, acoustic guitars, groovy synthesizers, and electronic beats to create a powerful symbiosis of analog and digital music.
-
Vocal harmony meets rocking guitar solos, funky synthesizers, fat basslines, and energetic beats. DEAM's music invites you to move, look ahead, and draw joy, strength, and confidence from the moment.
-
DEAM consists of four solo artists who have already realized their own projects in different genres in the past and now want to create something new together:
-
• De Maires (Mario Hunziker) – pop
aka Cliff Cooper (electro), DJ Freespace (trance)
-
• El Mar (Elmar Rüegger) – pop, blues, rock ‘n’ roll, country
-
• Ariana Celaeno – pop, Afrobeat, chill, drum and bass, EDM, house
-
• Mister Dee (Denis Limacher) – pop
aka Klangperlentaucher (electro), psynamix (Psytrance)
-
The name DEAM is composed of the first letters of the artists' names – but it also symbolizes their shared dreams and creation of new soundscapes.

How it all began
-
The origins of DEAM can be traced back to a dinner party in October 2025. Denis was visiting Elmar with his family when Elmar presented his latest blues guitar riffs. In return, Denis showed them a current electronic project he was working on with Mario.
-
From conversations, inspiration, and a few glasses of wine, the idea spontaneously arose to combine seemingly incompatible genres and the analog and digital worlds of music. Mario, a close friend of Denis since childhood and musically connected through previous joint projects, was immediately on board.
-
Once the basic musical framework for the first song was in place, all that was missing was a voice. Denis remembered Ariana Celaeno, whom he had previously met through an artist platform—and who was the perfect addition to the project. Ariana was immediately enthusiastic and started working on the vocals right away.
-
The result is the debut track “I Don't Do Forever,” which has been available on MX3 since December 19, 2025, and is participating in the Demotape Clinic 2026. The song marks the beginning of a band that is consciously developing openly and seeking its own place in the modern pop landscape.
