Biography

Ded Elk is a grunge and shoegaze influenced alternative rock duo from Basel. With tight and heavy riffs, intimate yet fierce vocals as well as gloomy and melancholic lyrics they quickly established themselves within the local scene, playing clubs and festivals.

Their song "No Future, No Sleep" released on June 5, 2021, is a tongue-in-cheek critique of today's hedonist and smug lifestyle and its lack of self-reflection and self-improvement.

With their second single "Supernova", a song with a dark feel and a tribal groove, Ded Elk paint an abstract picture of toxic relationships, harmful and traumatic experiences and the power to overcome.
