Biography

In 2011, five musicians from various bands in the Fribourg region, Patrick Rétornaz (guitar & voice / ex-Skyblend), Julien Bernard (drums / Well Well), Philippe Pugin (guitar / Deestonic), Alan Brunetti (bass / Darius) et Laurent Suard (guitar), joined to form Devon.

Its first namesake EP was released in late 2015, recorded in Ebullition by Vincent Sudan and mastered by Grégoire Pasquier (Alt Mix Studio). Mixing the post-rock and metal genres, Devon drew from the backgrounds of its 5 members to select the 4 titles on this first record, and best represent the musical identity of the quintet.
