A lifelong music enthusiast, Nicolas – known as DJ TraffX – has carved out a unique career path, from homemade mixtapes to iconic venues. After starting out in rock music in the 1990s, he discovered electronic music in the early 2000s and took to the decks.
In 2007, he organised his first events in Montpellier and quickly joined the URBANBASS collective, with whom he set venues such as the Rockstore, l’Antirouille and Victoire 2 alight. Alongside big names such as Noisia, Nero, Aphrodite and Chinese Man, he established himself as a key figure on the local DnB and electro scene.
Since then, his musical universe has expanded to include techno and house, which he weaves into powerful and spellbinding sets, always conceived as true sonic journeys. A master of the dancefloor, he prioritises harmony and a build-up in intensity to keep his audience on the edge of their seats.
Based in Switzerland since 2013, DJ TraffX performs at various private events and residencies, whilst developing his own productions and a new concept for upcoming parties.
