The band disbanded in March 2023 after five years together due to differing ambitions.
As anyone who already has/had a band knows, it's not easy to find other musicians with whom you can harmonise both on a personal and musical level. Over the years, our personal goals have drifted further and further apart. Finally, we were able to release our album Year of The Dog. This should be honoured by releasing it on all digital platforms.
The DD were: Jill Baumann (singer), Cécile Send (bassist), Gaia Giacomelli (drummer) and Lili Manzanedo (guitarist)
The individual band members have moved on to new projects.
Gaia Giacomelli and Lili Manzanedo presented their own new band project called BIRDLORD in April 2024. Together with bassist Claudio Wyer, they have formed a rock trio that will soon release their first demo tape --> the band will be present on MX3. Stay tuned!
