« Basically, the goal was to be tuned as low as possible, hence the use of eight-string guitars. The influences were Doom -metal or even Funeral Doom and very quickly branched off into two trends; one a bit heavy pop and the other much darker experimental. The first compositions included Hammond organ but very quickly other more electronic sounds were added to the music. »
DOOM Collective produces « heavy » music with a « pop-rock » approach. The lyrics are very dark dealing with subjects such as loneliness, loss of loved ones, darkness.
