With DRILL (Filthy Metalcore), the name says it all. The five guys from eastern Switzerland drill their way into the heads of their listeners with brute force and uncompromising heaviness. Jérémie Gonzalez, the band's songwriter, fulfills all his dark breakdown and two-step dreams with this project. On stage, the band and their music unleash their full energy and put a smile on the face of every fan of the cultivated mosh pit.
Together with scene greats such as The Acacia Strain (USA), Nasty (BE), Sunami (USA), Black Tongue (GBE), Paleface Swiss (CHE) and Within Destruction (SVN), DRILL have already been able to party on stage and get the audience dancing.
Another milestone was the performance at the BandXOst edition of 2024, where DRILL took home the audience award.
The group was founded in 2018 and has since released several singles and EPs under their own name. The best-known hit of this era is ‘Trap ft. Paleface Swiss".
The band has developed strongly musically over the years and was delighted to take the step of releasing a very well thought-out and boldly produced first full-length record called ‘Hommage’ in March 2024. DRILL's songs are heavy, technical and at the same time blunt, mixed with elements from many different subgenres and, above all, fun.
