A rapper, cellist and producer from Valais based in Lausanne, Elias D blends hip-hop, jazz and sampling to create music that is both organic and modern. On stage, his saturated cello and flow interact with the grooves played by three musicians from the HEMU (bass, drums, keyboard).
His lyrics oscillate between commitment, introspection and letting go, always driven by a desire to explore and share. Inspired by the French-speaking and British alternative scene (Swing, Nix Northwest, Gotts Street Park, etc.), he offers a unique universe: instrumental hip-hop that you would listen to in a jazz club. After his time at the Gustav Academy 2024, Elias D is now refining a more assertive set, combining flow, cello and raw emotions, ready to set the stage alight.
