Eon Awa is an emerging artist from Zofingen, Switzerland who blends music with visual storytelling. His art feels both elegant and playful, infused with a sense of depth. He tells the bitterest stories with wit and lightness. Themes such as identity and conformity run through his work.
Inspired by legends like Mariah Carey, Raye, and Candy Dulfer, his repertoire ranges from soulful ballads to funky beats.
In 2021, he released his debut album MORE and won the Swiss contest BandX Nordwest. Since then, he has performed as a supporting act for artists such as Crimer and Anna Ross- inelli, appeared at festivals in Basel, Lugano, and Montreux, and even shared the stage with the Argovia Philharmonic Orchestra.
At the international singing competitions Tour Music Fest in San Marino and Le Tremplin in the Romandie, he made it all the way to the finals.
As a dedicated and successful recipient of the Aargau youth culture fund Kulturdünger, Eon was among the first to be honored with the Green Thumb Award.
He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Film at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
