Esengo, is a DJ and Producer based between the crossroads of Geneva and Basel in Switzerland,which makes him a very forward-thinking artist.He weaves together the vibrant threads of Kuduro, Gqom,and Vogue Beats, crafting DJ sets that warms rooms and souls.
From Motel Campo as a regular here in Geneva, La Créole in Paris, OXI in Berlin to the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival, Esengo reclaims the sounds of black communities through his mixes.
In 2023, Esengo released an edit of a track by UK producer Arma, titled Arma - Sequencing (Esengo Edit) and continued to release his music productions - including a remix for Swiss music producer Fels and a release on TIG WERK ( alongside Kaval, King Doudou and more) in support of Légal Team Antiraciste - which reintroduced us to his new role as a music producer.
Committed to the roots of nightlife and creating reciprocal spaces of joy, Esengo is a member of the Swiss ballroom collective Angels in Disguise. In June 2024, he released his debut EP, "A KII", paying tribute to dance floors and his ballroom legacy. His work has garnered attention from NYC rapper Cakes da Killa and Nídia, for whom he has opened as a DJ.
