Eskeype is a progressive death metal band born in 2005 in Sion. Numerous shows on the international scene allowed them to share the stage with bands of international reputation (Samael, Dagoba, Prostitute Disfigurement, Darkane, Master, Destinity, Mumakil...). The mix between symphonic instrumentation and powerful music, rhythmic and emotional, permits the band to distance itself from the current metal scene.
In 2008, the band releases a four-track EP and a new bass player comes in to complete the line-up. Two years later and directly after a first European tour, Eskeype presents their first full-length album entitled « Legacy of Truth », a monument of maturity and inventiveness that is praised by the European specialized press.
The band is currently writing a second album that will be even more challenging.
