Fastheaven is a new band from Fribourg, Switzerland, with the founding members Patrick McCarthy and Fred Chappuis, featuring in most of the songs also talented Megan Carpenter on the vocals. Patrick McCarthy is a singer/songwriter/keyboard player who has been composing songs for the past 20 years and grew up in Fribourg Switzerland. Fred Chappuis is all and above an experienced drummer and sound engineer, but this Swiss musician also plays almost every other instrument. Lead guitars are being played by Pierre Angeloz, bass guitarist on all songs is Nicolas Gachoud and on keyboards on many songs is Valentin Molliet. All three musicians are also from Fribourg.
The band creates a unique intimate acoustic sound and athmosphere with their instruments and harmonies, with thoughtful and emotional real-life down to earth songwriting. The debut album (12 tracks) will be out soon!
