Federico Soresina was born in Rome on February 14, 2001. Blind from birth, from an early age he reveals to be gifted with a perfect ear and begins studying classical piano. At the same time he cultivates a purely amateur passion for singing and modern music, influenced above all by Italian singer-songwriters and in particular by Claudio Baglioni, who will also become his point of reference in vocal style.
His first more serious experience in modern music comes between August 2017 and February 2018 when together with other musician friends he is the organizer of the Music Experience project, a self-produced concert by the students of the Liceo Cantonale in Mendrisio, which is quite successful among the students. It is on this occasion that he plays for the first time together with a classmate, guitarist and friend, Filippo Quadri, who will prove to be instrumental in Federico's career. In fact, in October, together with the latter he publishes their first songs , Dimmi che non è vero, with lyrics by Federico, and Dance with me tonight, with words by Filippo, under the name Plutonium Daze, which will be broadcast by Radio Lime, the Mendrisio high school radio station, on several occasions.
In March 2019, the Music Experience concert is again held at the Plaza Cinema in Mendrisio, and it is a great success in the high school environment. On this occasion he sings, among others, Say something, by A Great Big World and Cristina Aguilera, with a young singer, Elisa Viviani, and his Dance with me tonight, with Quadri and a young band of friends, the Underailway.
In July he is live at the Mendrisio on Stage event, guest of the Underailway, singing Come as you are by Nirvana and accompanying himself on the piano in Bon Jovi's Bed of Roses, the latter already brought to the last edition of Music Experience, in fact discovering his rockier side. During the same period he writes a song, titled Notte d'Estate, recorded in November after being completed by Quadri and published only three years later by the singer on his personal profiles. He collaborates as a producer and pianist on the recording of some of Quadri's songs, and writes several songs, which remained unreleased or not even recorded, that he will keep in his archives.
2020 is a year of change on the musical level and beyond. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Music Experience 2020 concert and a paired event with Filippo Quadri, both scheduled for March, are canceled within days. Instead, in April, he releases, again with his friend Quadri, a rap song dedicated to the institution of public schooling and in particular to the difficulties of online education in the midst of the lockdown; in May he records, as the last fruit of their collaboration, a Christmas song, Merry Christmass... my lover, unreleased and never published. The duo's last performance of the former Plutonium Daze duo, renamed Acoustifly, was at the high school graduation ceremony of the year 2020, in which Federico and Filippo closed their high school years by performing, among others, Vita spericolata, the first song they played together back in 2018.
At the same time, he began releasing solo piano and voice tracks, among which, in addition to various covers, stand out the new songs Non sei sola (March) and Pugni e lividi (August).
In March 2021 he publishes on his personal profiles the old song Dimmi che non è vero, released in 2018 but with no particular following and rarely played live, in memory of his collaboration with his lifelong friend Filippo Quadri, co-writer of many of his songs. In October, the release of an interview with him on the RSI Spam page reawakened his desire to play music. In fact, it is in November, after a break related to personal issues, that he writes a song, titled Ricordi, dedicated to his ex-girlfriend. In December, he is hired as the male voice of the young Lugano band Nerofumo, beginning a new season under the banner of pop-rock.
At the same time, he does not abandon his solo career. In March, he releases a new song, titled "Compagna di liceo," dedicated to a friend and classmate in his freshman year of high school. It will be this song that, thanks to the positive opinion of an acquaintance, will allow Federico to make his first acquaintances with important names such as Eros Ramazzotti and Davide Van De Sfroos.
In June, he returns to his high school, host of the graduation ceremony, the first alumnus to perform in such a setting. On September 8 he performed, for the first time in a setting of that size, at Davide Van De Sfroos' Tesserete concert, singing with him the song Oh lord... vaarda gio.
He participated in the project "Artisti Uniti per il Burundi", together with some members of the band Nerofumo and the Ticino multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Giosia Perretta, in the role of author and performer of the song Nuovo Burundi, written to celebrate the activities of the association Amici Ticino per il Burundi, released on September 23.
