Duan is a Swiss rapper and beat maker. He was born and raised in Zurich. As a child he played various instruments and later in his teenage years he fell in love with hiphop and especially German rap. His idols were old hands like Samy Deluxe, Freundeskreis, Torch, Afrob and other german artists of the same style, so he also wrote his lyrics in standard German from the beginning. So far he has released one album and three EPs as well as numerous music videos and has also repeatedly demonstrated his skills live on stage. His latest release is the "Onetake Ciddy" EP, which, as the name suggests, contains nothing but pure bars, recorded in one take. No hooks, no schemes, but for each track a "Onetake-Video" on Youtube. For a year now, the 23 year old from Zurich has also been releasing cozy lofi beats to relax under the name "Gut und Gerne".
