Fen Doi is the creative outlet of Zurich-based producer, drummer and singer Neil Lauper. Drawing inspiration from a wide variety of artists and styles, his music is truly genre-bending. Influences include post-punk and darkwave acts such as Drab Majesty or Boy Harsher as well as more pop-oriented indie electronic artists like Rüfüs Du Sol, Bob Moses or Roosevelt. In its essence, Fen Doi’s sound is a fusion of the genres most formative to his musical journey so far: rock and electronic dance music.
Former releases gained support from respected names in the electronic dance music scene such as Ellen Allien (at Boiler Room Sydney), Curses, Perel, or Reka and received air play on Swiss National Radio (SRF) as well as smaller local radio stations.
