Fjälla

Biography

Fjälla are 4 young people from Zurich and have been part of the Lauter Label since 2022. In their shows, Anouk, Ulla, Paula and Emilio combine poetry, choreography and elaborate costume designs with their music. A dramaturgy flows through the concerts and lovingly invites the audience inside into Fjälla's world.
The exciting mixture of post-punk and indie rock is performed in English, French, Italian and German. Lyrics about sexualised violence, loneliness and mental illness are as much a part of it as lyrics about friendship and consensual "Good Morning Sex".
Fjälla has already played sold-out concerts at Helsinki, Zurich and the Rote Fabrik. Furthermore, they performed in well-known clubs such as Mehrspur, several times at Dynamo and were invited by GDSFM for a live show. In 2021, Fjälla was able to play 15 concerts inside and outside of Zurich despite the Corona pandemic.
