A Solothurn-based cover and rock band, which toured extensively in the 80s and 90s, is back!
Three of the four original members have reunited and are now ready to play for you with new bandmates.
"Back to the Roots" is our motto, so we rock through various styles of Southern and rock music, primarily playing covers of our favorite bands. It's a blast!

The Story
It all started with the Solothurn party band FOR SALE, which performed regularly in smaller clubs and at parties in the region from 1989 to 2000. In addition to covers, more and more original songs were added to their repertoire.

After 2000, FOR SALE evolved into the band THE GREEN CHEESE.
Now, a record has finally been released, documenting the success achieved with FOR SALE, and is available as a maxi-CD.
Unfortunately, this group disbanded soon after.

After further band projects over the past 20 years, most recently with the dialect band HUUSMEISCHTER, three of the original members revived the band FOR SALE in 2021.

With Mänu on vocals, Ringgu on guitar, and Säschu on keyboards, the new lineup was soon complete.
