Record release concert: June 15 at Schall und Rauch, Basel. More details coming soon.
frèrelumière's debut album, «The Night Depository» features eight songs oscillating between darkness and luminescence. Toying around with musical ideas and trying to toss all blinders aside, the Swiss trio set out to find their own way out of the last few years' haze. Their songs steadily rumble along, plowing through strange dreams like an automaton. Words and sounds come together like cogwheels, and slowly but surely, the band emerges from the night depository they found themselves in when they started.
Lyricist/singer Frank Wenzel, guitarist Sandro Corbat (Sandro P., Scratches) and harpist Andrea Brunner have only just begun exploring the possibilities and invite you to join them on their journey.
Backed by their masterful producer, multi-instrumentalist Luca Glausen aka DJ Luke le Loup (Junip, Lost in Lona) and mixed and mastered by Jonas Prina, frèrelumière's music is finally out and will soon be played live at expected and unexpected venues.
