Looking at and describing life and its facets from unusual perspectives is the breeding ground for the sometimes delicate, sometimes powerful texts of Ginny Loon. This broad range is also manifested in the music of the Swiss singer-songwriter, whose sound and vocal abilities span from soft to loud, from melodic country-pop to robust busker-rock. Her experience as a street musician in many cities around the world brings her into the circle of her audience, whom she captivates with guitar and voice; her produced and released songs also captivate when performed unplugged.
In February 2023, Ginny Loon was crowned SRF 3 Best Talent and played over 50 gigs in 2023, as she did the previous year. This included performances at OpenAir St. Gallen, Gurten Festival, and on the main stage of the Winterthur Music Festival.
This year, many live shows are scheduled, and Ginny will release her second EP. The next tour will kick off with a performance at "Live Is Live" in April.
