About Glitzerhaus
There are many DJ duos around the world, but none are like the two eccentric parts of the combo Glitzerhaus.
It all started when Lady Mata Hari, niece of the well known artist family "Koreana", was looking for someone to help her complete her vision as entertainer and teach her the art of DJing.
Who else than her best friend Dr. Beat who started DJing at the tender age of 16 and was heavily taken by music genres such as New Wave, Chicago House and Soul Music could have done the job? During their teaching sessions the chemistry between the two exploded into a yin-yang-effect. The decision to enter the world of electronic music together was made very easily.
Due to their always changing looks and their excellent choice of music Glitzerhaus got instantly noted by the swiss gay community. It was not very long until they got their first resident gigs at some wellknown Swiss LGBT-locations.
Their stage appearance evolved as well: what started as a DJ duo is nowadays rather a performance cocktail composed of draq queens, live vocals, MC elements and live music.
This leads the two another step closer to their concept of the “total entertainment experience”: never alone on stage or behind the DJ booth, always accompanied by dancers, drag queens or live musicians, everything to achieve the' ultimate goal of the total performance.
It's always about the audience: if people go home with a biiiiiiiiiiiig smile on their faces saying what a great night this was, the job was properly done ...
