Gregory Poncet aka Gregorythme is involved since many years now in the electronic music scene as a producer (Digitaline, Left, Gregorythme), performer and label manager (Raoul Records).
As Gregorythme, he has released records on labels such as Cityfox, Rebirth, Minibar, Nr19, Igloo, Enfant Terrible, Raoul Records... Zürich/New York based label Cityfox is home for his work since 2008. "The Den EP" is his latest contribution on Cityfox and the track "Herz" went into the charts on many website during fall 2014.
With tracks like "Futurama" or "No Time No Space", both on CITYFOX, or the more recent "Artificial Tears" on Nr.19 and many more, Gregorythme has consistantly developed his trademark sound: musicality combined with a creative flair, trying something new in every track and especially looking to bring as much emotion as possible into electronic music.
In 2012, among many other tracks, he made remixes for Pirupa feat. Bajka and Terje Saether feat.Malin Pettersen. Thanks to the subtle treatment of the vocals and the musicality of his arrangements, both re-workings were well-received, bringing Gregory's sound to a wider audience. In 2013, tracks like "Born Again" released on his on own label Raoul and "Space Out" on Cityfox were supported and played by many DJ's around the world.
Known and respected in the scene as a tireless and uncompromising artist, his records are catching the attention of the ones on the lookout for fresh sounding and surprising tracks for the dance floor and more.
Gregory founded his own label RAOUL RECORDS in 2011, where he releases his own music and some of the most talented and innovative artists in the swiss electronic music scene, such as Dollar Mambo, KnoR, Crowdpleaser, Gaspard de la Montagne, Luft, Digitaline, Liviu Groza, Larytta …
2016 are going to be full of new musical adventures for Gregorythme. Guitars are bringing a fresh vibe to his music, vocals are making them more pop. Gregory will be exploring other track format, other kind of beats, working more with acoustic instruments than he used to do… "OUI OUI ep" and "Irrationnal EP" are ready to come out on Raoul Records in early 2016.
