HAIN is an Epic Ritual Folk band from Southern Germany and Switzerland.
Their music combines archaic and ritualistic elements with folk, rock, electronic soundscapes and cinematic music. The lyrics are written in German, inspired by Proto-Germanic, as well as in soul language.
The band was founded in early 2019 from the desire to create songs of power and send them out into the world and into people's hearts. HAIN connects music with nature, ancient myths, inner imagery and a soulful understanding of the world.
With the single “FRIJO”, HAIN found an even clearer musical direction of its own: archaic, deep, ritualistic and deeply connected to nature.
The song marks an important step in the band's development and was named Winner in the European Folk category at the 2026 InterContinental Music Awards.
