Some bands are formed by strategy. Others by pure passion. Heartwish clearly belongs to the latter. Founded in Switzerland in 2020 by seasoned musicians, the band set out to create music straight from the heart — honest, melodic, and full of feeling.
A Band with Heart and Experience
Behind Heartwish are musicians with decades of stage and studio experience. Songwriter Juerg Weibel and vocalist Ricardo Iglesias shape much of the band’s identity. Together with other experienced artists, including Claudio Cervino and Cyrill Messmer, they created a project that combines professionalism with genuine enthusiasm.
From day one, the focus was never on trends, but on songs that last.

Studio Journey and Audience Connection
All songs were produced at the renowned Powerplay Studios in Switzerland with our very established producer Urs Wiesendanger, contributing depth and quality to the band’s sound.
With singles like Get Away, Fly Away, The Lonely Heart, Fight, and Little Things, Heartwish steadily built a presence within the independent rock scene. Their 2025 album “These are the Days” captures the band’s essence: melody, emotion, and a clear message.
