Homewards, the band founded in Zurich in 2015, captivates with their melancholic hardcore punk in the style of Landscapes, Defeater, and the like. Their energetic live performances and personal lyrics have earned them a solid reputation, sharing the stage with notable acts like Stick To Your Guns, Stray From The Path, and Obey The Brave. Their music combines intense emotions and raw energy, deeply touching and moving the audience.
After releasing their first two EPs, «Old Habits» (2016) and «Ephemeral» (2017), the band took a longer break marked by several lineup changes. During the pandemic-induced hiatus, Homewards used the time for a fresh start, culminating in the release of «Blue Hour» (2022). Their latest work, «Is This Still Who I Am?» (2024), represents the logical next step in their evolution, drawing listeners into a whirlpool of melancholy and melody. In 2025, the band entered a new era with the addition of a new vocalist. To mark the 10-year anniversary of «Old Habits», Homewards released a re-recorded version of the track «Despair» on February 1, 2026, followed shortly by the two-song EP «No Sense Of Purpose» in early March.
