Hotel Arcana is an alternative rock / post-punk duo based in Vevey. Driven by raw riffs, shimmering melodic lines and introspective lyrics, their music explores a fictional inner space where memories, trauma and identity collide. Hotel Arcana is not a place… it’s in our heads.
Through poetic and intimate songwriting, the duo gives voice to inner conflict, emotional wounds and the complexity of a mind in constant flux, turning vulnerability into a creative force.
Their sound sits somewhere between the intensity of Wunderhorse and the melodic sensibility of Fontaines D.C., blending heavy riffs, atmospheric guitars and visceral vocals laced with grunge harmonies.
Their debut EP The Basement (November 2026) was written, recorded and produced entirely in their own studio in Vevey. The band embraces a fully DIY approach in service of a sound that is raw, sincere and authentically imperfect. Their conviction: music must come from the human.
After performing at the Animai Festival in Vevey, Hotel Arcana will open for an international act (embargo) at L’Hacienda in Sierre on 22 May 2027, for the release of their second EP.
