Trading his trusty Fender Precision bass for an acoustic guitar, Swiss-Canadian Jeremie Magnin, aka Hugs and Stitches, blends folk lullabies and indie-punk, heart-driven by raw-to-the-bone, catchy lyrics.
The debut album "Lullabies and Wake-Up Calls" came out on tape in June 2021 on Cassettine Tapes (Geneva) and Lucinda Records (Madrid), recorded, mixed and mastered by Kevin Galland at Studio Mécanique, La Chaux-de-Fonds, with guest vocals by Charles-Adamir Bernhard (Oregon Trail), Kevin Galland (Coilguns) and Onneca Guelbenzu (Fire Cult, Las Furias). The second album "Almost Foolish" is scheduled for an early spring 2025 release, backed by the same gang of jolly pirates.
