HUNTED LIKE THIEVES from Zurich play energetic, powerful Melodic Hardcore with a pinch of Punkrock.
But you may just call it what you like, since most importantly we simply aim to bring as much energy and enthusiasm as possible on stage and share it with the world. HUNTED LIKE THIEVES have been around for more than 10 years and played numerous shows on smaller and also some bigger stages. Whilst most of us do have our backgrounds in the
Hardcore and Punk scene, we set out to elaborate our very own, unique musical blend, which we believe we have found over all these years.
After two albums (“On The Edge of Giving In” – 2021 / “Echoes” – 2015) and an EP (“Control” – 2017) HUNTED LIKE THIEVES return with a new release, “Overflow”, which will be out in fall 2025. We believe that “Overflow“ is our musically most elaborate work to date and brings out the essence of our band. The title is a reflection of the musical as much as the lyrical content. Many of the texts deal with the spectrum of emotions that we often find ourselves in,
in our modern times: The feeling of being overwhelmed in an increasingly complex, often depressing world – life in a multi-option society which suggests that we can become “everything”, but which holds the threat of losing access to
our very own selves. On the other hand, “Overflow” stands for the sensations and feelings that only music is capable of conveying: Exuberant enthusiasm, overflowing emotions, but also grief, sadness and despair. We believe that our new songs embody this catharsis in the most passionate, honest and unfiltered way possible.
