Biography
Jameal is a rock band from Switzerland, whose musical style is inspired by the music from around the 80s. They are passionate about combining different elements from various genres and their diverse songwriting offers something for every taste: From heavy rock-riffs and funk rhythms, to soulful vocals and profound ballads.
Julian Jamil Bhorania, singer and guitarist, founded the band as a result from locking himself up in a humble studio, where he recorded his first demo tapes: "At some point in my life, I lost track and I couldn't figure out where I was going. After I picked up a guitar and started to make some progress, I discovered myself completely hooked on making music. It helped me to see the light at the end of the tunnel and got me back on track."
Julian's band mates complement his visions perfectly: Phil Veit on lead guitar, Joe Gees on bass guitar and Clemens Marti on the drums. Together, they deliver electrifying performances that are bound to leave audiences exhilarated.
In April 2023, Jameal released their debut EP, including the music video for the single "Unstoppable". They are working on new music and are excited to play live very soon: "We can't wait to get out there and have a great time with you," says Julian. Don't miss the opportunity to see Jameal rock the stage and bring their infectious energy to a city near you.
