Janti began his career in the bars of Brussels, his hometown, and quickly gained recognition in various media. His cover songs and music videos caught the attention of international TV channels like Rouge TV (CH), TF1 (FR), and Star Channel (GR), which broadcasted them on their shows.
As a self-taught performing artist, singer, and songwriter, Janti's journey is a testament to the power of self-discovery. Influenced by Pop and RnB, he proudly sings his truth and shares his unique journey. Born of Assyrian origin in Belgium, Janti's multicultural and conservative upbringing initially forced him to conceal his true identity. However, he has since found his voice, speaking out on important subjects such as freedom of self-expression, the LGBTQ+ cause, self-love, and inclusivity. These very subjects now characterize and empower his artistry.
In 2015, Janti moved to Geneva, which inspired him to create his first original songs. His soulful voice conveys touching, melancholic, introspective with socially engaged lyrics, and powerful and meticulous visuals. Janti's artistic vision is a unique blend of music and fashion. Inspired by both, he has created a strong brand that is as much about his music as it is about his style.
Since 2022, Janti began expressing himself on stage through his songs accompanied by Charly (guitar, sampler, synth) and Jean (bass), enriching his live performances and started making a mark on the Swiss music scene, such as in Montreux Jazz Festival, Geneva Pride, Fête de la Musique, and by supporting local established artists like Roxane.
Janti is working on a new project, "Confessions," to be released in 2025. This project, with a new style that evokes comparisons to artists like 3ee, Odeal, Dhruv, and Christian Kuria, is sure to be a highly anticipated release.
