Around 350,000 people listen to my purely instrumental music on Spotify each month — minimalist, calm, and carried by the silence between the notes. At its core is the acoustic guitar.
By now, around 200 tracks have been released under various projects: Juan Martínez Pérez, Elson Complex, Sounds of Vega, Los Gilets, and SEIDOS. These include collaborations with more than 30 musicians worldwide. The discography is accordingly wide-ranging: from solo guitar pieces to duets featuring guitar, violin, and cello, as well as piano pieces and ambient tracks.
For my 60th birthday, I’m fulfilling a childhood dream: the piano. As a child, I always wanted to learn, but we couldn’t afford one. Today I’ve found my way to it: I sent six guitar sketches to pianist Nils Edlund (stage name Albert Ed) — he embraced them and transformed them into stand-alone piano pieces. The EP “From Fret to Felt Vol.1” will be released on March 13, 2026.
On the same day, my seventh compilation album will also be released, featuring seven guitar duets recorded with Daniel Boman (stage name Dan Brewer), Rue Protzer, La Muse, and Nalle Ahlstedt (stage name Homegrown Ed).
I’m also currently developing a live set: together with violinist Larsen Genovese, I want to bring this music to the stage.
