Even as a child, Jula Glore was passionate about playing the piano.
Although she took piano lessons for a few years, her own compositions were always more important to her. To this day, she plays and performs her songs and piano pieces without sheet music.
In her mid-20s, she spent several months working as a background pianist at a resort hotel, where she had the opportunity to present her original compositions—which were still instrumental at the time—to an audience outside her own four walls.
Shortly thereafter, she began writing songs and performing them herself. Two of these were professionally produced for a demo tape purposes by #Carsten Mentzel at a studio in Bonn, Germany. He is himself an incredibly versatile artist and music producer: https://carsten-mentzel.de/
In the years that followed, she sang and played in several bands, and in 2009, she became fully absorbed in songwriting. Within 12 months, she composed nearly 30 songs and gradually overcame her severe stage fright, finally presenting three songs from her new material to the public for the first time at the “take 15” event at the “Turbine Theater” www.turbinetheater.ch in October 2009.
This event brought Jula together with the three-member core of the band “NiceNoise.” The temporary “joint venture” between Jula and NiceNoise was sealed, resulting in a one-hour performance at the “Albis Openair” in 2010.
Jula’s melodious, emotionally charged songs are brimming with heart, passion, and ambition.
After a break, her first officially produced single, “Sky on Fire,” was released in December 2019, along with a music video.
In 2020, Jula wrote her first commissioned song in Swiss German, “Füür und Flamme,” for a wedding couple. However, the song has not been released; it is only “available” on MX3.ch.
In October 2020, the second single, “Mid-Season Sale,” was released, followed by a Eurodance-style remix in October 2025.
Another project close to her heart was the release of the ballad “NO WAY BACK,” which came out in mid-December 2024 along with a music video, as well as another deeply emotional ballad, “Stronger,” released earlier in October 2024.
More songs will follow in the coming months and in 2027. Along with the previously released tracks, they will be part of the long-planned debut album, which will showcase the diversity of Jula’s musical work.
Between 2009 and 2026, over 50 compositions and songs were created across the genres of pop, rock, soul-pop, and several ballads. A selection of these, including the tracks already released, will be part of the planned album. All released songs have been and will be produced exclusively by #Domenico Livrano https://www.livrano-group.ch/domenico-livrano-tonstudio (with the exception of “Sky on Fire,” produced in collaboration with Simona Müller/iMD-Sunjita.
