As a child, Ophélie Meyer followed her parents around the globe. From these migrations emerged her passion for culture, music, dance and above all for humans. She began composing her first songs as a teenager, mostly dipping into folk music, with only her voice and guitar. These creations were then developed and released in her former indie-rock band. Ophélie’s vocals are mesmerizing, powerful, mellow and ethereal, captivating her audience in a world of her own. Marc Pauli, a multi-tasking musician and singer in many bands, became Ophélie’s drummer in 2018. His unique play and creative percussions enhanced their project. Their connection was, since the start, very strong and intuitive. In 2020, Ophélie started a solo project, composing songs on a piano, in a small chapel. Wanting to create an electronic version of her work, she called on Marc and his skills for rhythm and percussions. Together, they gave birth to Kashmire For Goliath.
Kashmire For Goliath uses musical instruments, drums, synthesizers, pianos and digital music editing to create a unique blend of indie electronica. Their universe is mystical, dark, yet bright, tribal, deep and lunar. The track “Saphir” has been created as a healing mantra. Their music will touch your soul.
