KATAVIA, an emerging artist in the Swiss music scene, embodies youth, creativity, and talent. As a singer, songwriter, and performer, she paved her way by starting with the guitar, then progressing to the piano, and honing her singing skills through four dedicated years of training.
In 2020, her composition "Perfect Liars" won the Stroud Song Contest during her stay in England. KATAVIA has evolved, transitioning from English pop melodies to an exciting world of electro-pop and French pop/rap.
Her influences, drawn from renowned artists like Poupie, Nina Chuba, and even PNL, shine through in her music. She combines powerful musical compositions with raw and authentic lyrics. She addresses universal themes such as love and the transition to adulthood with refreshing sincerity, often accompanied by a critical look at the world around her.
After a year filled with concerts in French-speaking Switzerland and neighboring France, KATAVIA is now based in Berlin. There, she has recently unveiled her first French EP titled "ON VERRA," available on all music platforms.
