Kay Yōko is a Swiss artist based in Geneva, working at the crossroads of rap, R&B and experimental bedroom pop. As a songwriter, composer and producer of her own music, she develops an introspective, organic and minimalist universe, carried by sensitive, direct and embodied writing.
Trained in audio engineering at SAE Geneva, Kay Yōko has chosen a high level of artistic autonomy: she writes, composes, produces, mixes, masters and oversees all aspects of her projects. This independence allows her to build a coherent body of work, where vulnerability becomes a strength and where every sonic and visual detail is conceived as an extension of her vision.
Her project moves between stripped-back tracks and more textured compositions, blending intimate confessions, observations of reality and a search for meaning. Kay Yōko favors discreet yet impactful punchlines, leaving space for emotion and identification. Humanity, inner transformation and the pursuit of authenticity form the common thread of her work.
On stage, she delivers sober and deeply inhabited performances, where atmosphere matters as much as energy. She has already performed in Geneva and at various events, and has opened for H JeuneCrack, Mairo, 8ruki, Jyeuhair and L’Osmose, gradually asserting her place within the emerging Swiss music scene.
After releasing her first singles, Kay Yōko is currently preparing her debut EP, scheduled for early 2026. A highly personal and coherent project, conceived as a foundational step in her artistic journey. Through her music, she seeks above all to create a sincere connection with her audience and to build a sustainable and independent artistic career.
