Biography
Man, Guitar, LOUD!
The debut release took years to finally fulfill for Kevin McFlannigan. The 26 year old singer-songwriter has started to write songs for this record almost a full decade ago.
Packed with his guitar and raspy voice in the peaceful backyard of his hometown in Switzerland. Not to mention that this neighbourhood sure was not so quiet anymore with
the strumming chords and lound choruses to chant along.
After several postponements of the release due to COVID and its consequences for venues, the day has finally come! No release-party, no crowd, no chanties the audience could sing. But a carefully recorded EP done with good friends along the way. The band behind this piece, playing along to Kevin's guitar and lyrics, is Barefoot to the Moon from
St. Gallen, Fuocolino on the violin and Jessy Schmidlin doing the backing vocals. A perfect combination for rough "acoustic" sound.
McFlannigan: "I'd like to thank every single one who made this possible. Barefoot to the Moon, Fuocolino, Jessy and of course Dein-Studio.com. It has brought old friends closer together again and bond new friendships. I am very happy with the result and very much hope to not wait another decade to release Volume II."
