Kolja is a multimedia artist with a focus on sound.
In today‘s information age, he is interested in blurring the arbitrary origins of elements through layering, fragmentation and transformation with the
help of protocols. This leads to a fine line between
abstraction and recognisability. Kolja's latest project “So Much Noise It Gets Soft“ is about the creative process itself and the idea of using musical legacy as a catalyst for honesty. In addition to his solo project, Kolja is part of the up-and-coming bands Kadna and Golfjugo and also works as a studio engineer and composer with other bands and artists.
