Dalibor Bogojevic a.k.a KOMPLEX
was born on April 06, 1984 in Serbia. At the end of 1998, he moved to Switzerland in pursuit of higher education, but due to some differences between Serbian and Switzerland school system, he decided to discontinue his education. Over the course of the next few years, he worked at many different jobs and did some soul searching. He started writing very young, simple school poems, and later at ages of 15-16, it developed to true poetry. He wrote his first rap at the age of 18.For him writing has always been a way to express his feelings, release all the negative energy, frustrations, and give his opinion about everything that is going on around him. After while he realized he was good at writing, it came naturally to him.In 2002 he was introduced to rap thanks to Dzambas .Komplex loved the idea of putting his poetry together with music, and they started performing together.
After many live performances, he got noticed by Edo Maajka and Frenkie, the two of the most popular artists in Balkans, and began to perform with them. Finally in 2006 he decided to start working on his own album “DOSADNO U RAJU” with very talented and popular DJ RAID.”Dosadno u Raju” is a hard-core album that mainly talks about lives of Balkan immigrants, and his in a very sarcastic way.
Some of the people working on this album and involved in producing it together with DJ RAID are Big Boss, CHILE a.k.a KS_Maestro, J-Cook, T-Blaze, Schmitz, Tribal, Milos, and King Mire and Preewiew.In addition to 15 solo songs there are also 7 songs featuring some of the most popular artists from Balkans like popular Croatian band ELEMENTAL, WWO from Poland, Cistychov from Slovakia, MVP,Skabo( member of Beogradski Sindikat), X3M, MCM. And some very good underground artists like Nerwe, Tozza(member of Crni Blok), Ill Government, Dzambas and South Side from Serbia. Also appearing on album is Moloflow, young German artist, working with Komplex on their bilingual Mix tape, which they plan to release sometime in April 2008 across Switzerland and Germany. Together with South Side Komplex performed in Serbia few times and he appears on King Mire’s mix tape for FM JAM RECORDS. He’s a guest on RSJ ELEMENT ‘s album and SOKOL’s and PONO’s album
.He’s’ also a part of big project by PROSTO Record Label, so called “SLAVIC TRACK”, „Nie lekcewaz nas” song featuring artists from almost every Slavic country (Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus , Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia). Komplex also appeared on few radio stations (WORD UP – B92 radio), magazines like “ VESTI” , Kanal K radio show “Mladost” on Serbian which is been listened by many thousand listeners all nations from Balkan and other countries.
